My ute office

As a tradesman, it’s always essential that I have the right tools and equipment for every job. While I might not technically have an office, I often like to regard my ute as my office. I always ensure my ute is set up in the best way possible to ensure I can get my work done efficiently and to a high standard.

I’m always looking for ways to improve the work I do and become more efficient. Over the last few years I have come to realise that my ute is the secret to this. Having a ute that is well-setup makes all the difference. The latest addition I’ve been considering is installing a half canopy to my ute. I’ve spent the last few weeks researching half canopies because I want to make sure this is the right decision before I go ahead with anything. This research helped me uncover the many various benefits of a half canopy.

The first benefit is definitely the additional storage space it provides. No matter what specialisation you’re in, every tradesperson has a lot they need to carry. A half canopy provides the additional storage space that is needed, but does not compromise the functionality of the ute.

The area I live and work in can be quite prone to either harsh UV rays in summer, or heavy rain in winter. A half canopy can help protect my tools against rust and corrosion during harsh weather. This will, in turn, prolong the life of my tools and save me a lot of money in the long run.

After making the decision to install half a ute canopy, I started looking where to get ute trays in Melbourne. My current ute tray is getting quite tattered, so I figured if I’m going through the hassle of getting one installation, I might as well get the whole thing done.

I found a company that manufactures and instals both ute trays and canopies. It made sense to opt for them, rather than running around all of Melbourne for people who can do one or the other.
